While wandering down memory lane, thinking about my grandmother, I searched an article from People magazine from many years ago about Grandma and her oldest son Weldon who was lost during WWII. Grandma lived with us most of my life, and she was an astonishing woman in so many ways. When her son was finally brought home, she was more at peace than I had ever seen her. Thought y’all might find it interesting. The next to the last paragraph is about her and Weldon.
