As with the first Interlude, this is basically sidequest material before the next main story world, so this will probably be short and will not include a synopsis of the game up to this point. In other words, I just felt like playing a little bit. Anyway, in we go…

The trio arrived back in Traverse Town in the Accessory Shop. The green trinity mark they had remembered from before was waiting right in front of a display case. The trio activated the trinity mark, which apparently compelled Sora, Donald, and Goofy to stack up on each other’s shoulders. Doing so in the shop allowed them to reach a ladder that had previously been attached to the ceiling. Going up the ladder, the trio came out into a new shop. On a work bench nearby sat another moggle. Yet another moggle stood by an oven of some sort. There were also two chests nearby. One contained a mythril shard while the other held three more dalmatian puppies. Donald spirited them away. Thirty down, sixty-nine to go. Before continuing on, Sora had an urge to look at Jiminy’s chronicles of their journey thus far. Inside the journal, Sora noticed that they had recovered the first part of Ansem’s Report from Jafar. Ansem had written that much of his life had been dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and that the knowledge he had gained had guarded his kingdom well. However, even Ansem realized there were things he did not understand fully. Darkness, for instance. He believed that darkness lay in every heart and, no matter how small the darkness seems, it can spread and swallow the heart. But where does it come from and how does it manage to affect people? Ansem vowed to find the answer to these questions in an effort to protect his world from those taken by the darkness. Sora turned away from the journal, wondering what had gone wrong in the midst of Ansem’s research. Oh well, nothing to be done until more reports are found. The trio spoke to one of the moogles, who told them that inside this shop, they synthesize new items or accessories from items they could find out in the world, like mythril shards or blaze gems or the like. Sora and company took a minute to see what they could make. After making a few items and accessories, the trio went to leave the shop. One last moggle stood in the corner. He told the group that, with the right ingredients and a little practice, the moggles were hoping to synthesize the strongest weapon ever. With that in mind, the trio left the store and headed towards Merlin’s house with the torn page they had found in Agrabah.

Back inside Merlin’s house, Sora opened the mysterious book and returned to the world inside. Inside the book, the torn page revealed a tall, tall tree. Sora investigated the tree and was once more sucked into the pages of the story. Back inside Pooh’s world, Sora looked up at the tall tree. The tree itself had many holes and it’s branches were dotted with beehives. While approaching, Sora heard a timid voice calling out, asking if anyone was there. Suddenly, a tiny being that resembled a pig emerged from the log. The little guy wondered what he would do all alone before calling out for Pooh. “Pooh? Pooh? It’s me. Piglet!” Ah, so this is Piglet. Poor little guy. A shadow cast over Piglet. The frightened little guy turned and saw Sora standing over him. Piglet turned around and ran off to hide behind the tree. Sora approached Piglet slowly, trying not to frighten him any more. Piglet panicked anyway, telling Sora that he was sorry. He wasn’t trying to annoy him. Taking pity on the little guy, Sora squatted down in front of Piglet. Sora told him not to be scared and then asked if he was looking for Pooh. Hearing his friend’s name perked the little guy up. He asked if Sora knew Pooh. Piglet breathed a sigh of relief upon realizing that Sora indeed knew his friend, and he told Sora that he was looking for Pooh because he had something for Pooh. It was something he had to take to Pooh right away. Just then, Pooh appeared from the bushes in the background. Pooh had apparently been following his nose and tummy again. He had followed the scent of honey all the way to the tree. Piglet ran up to Pooh. Pooh turned and said hello to Piglet, asking how he had been. Piglet exclaimed how happy he was to see Pooh because he though Pooh had gone away. Piglet then pulled out a blue balloon. Apparently, this was the thing that Pooh had asked for. Apparently, Pooh planned to use the balloon to float up into the tree to get some honey. Piglet wisely asked Pooh that if he took the bee’s honey, wouldn’t they be angry? I guess Pooh hadn’t even considered that. Sora approached Pooh and asked if he could help. Pooh told him that if he could chase away the bees, Pooh should be able to get a small morsel of honey. Sora agreed to help and Owl arrived on a branch of the tree just overhead. Pooh and Owl said their hellos before Owl asked what the group was up to. Pooh explained his plan, which Owl thought was a splendid idea. And here I thought owls were supposed to be smart. Oh well… Owl then offered some advice. Apparently, the honey was to be found in the hollows of the tree, not the beehives. If Pooh were to get close to the honey, that is when the bees would come out of the hive and attack. Sora’s job was to swat the bees away before they got too close, or else they would pop the balloon. The more time Pooh got at each hollow, the more honey he could eat. And the farther up the tree Pooh got, the more honey he could find. Owl then told Sora that if jumping from branch to branch was too difficult, he could use the Rush command. It would help Sora catch up to Pooh quickly, but it was not totally reliable. With that, the hunt for honey in the Hunny Tree was on. Fortunately for Pooh, after a few false starts while Sora got his bearings, Sora quickly became a professional bee swatter and Pooh was able to pig out on honey. Pooh commented that it was funny what he would do for honey. With Pooh’s mission complete, Sora returned back to outside the pages of the book. For helping Pooh, the torn page turned into the Naturespark gem. Sora used the sparkling portal on the page to return to normal size in Merlin’s house. With the Naturespark in hand, Sora spoke to the Fairy Godmother. With a Bibbity Bobbity Boo, she allowed Sora to access the spirit within the stone, who was named Bambi. With Jiminy’s help, Sora learned that Bambi was a young deer who was the son of a great stag who ruled the forest Bambi had come from. In battle, Bambi pranced around and dropped items for Sora to use. The quality and type of items Bambi would drop depended on the number of enemies Sora defeated and the area that they were in when Bambi was summoned. Sora’s list of allies he could summon now included Simba, Genie, and Bambi. Feeling stronger and stronger with each task he completed, Sora and company made ready the gummi ship and took off to find their next adventure…
