Since this one is just part of a side quest and should be quite short, I will not be recounting the story up to this point. Just sit back and enjoy the show…

Arriving back in the Olympus Coliseum grounds, the trio noticed some changes. For one, on one of the banners lining, the walls, the trio found a line-up for the Games that were to be held, called the Phil Cup. Sora and company were already slotted in to the tenth position. The rest of the positions appeared to be held by groups of Heartless. Guess we are going to have to mow through them again, aren’t we? Near the doors of the Coliseum, the group spotted Hercules, ready to welcome heroes to the Games. Hercules told Sora and company that he hoped to face them in the Games sometime. Inside the vestibule, Phil asked the group which tournament they would want to enter. However, since the only option was the Phil Cup, it wasn’t really much of a choice. With a shrug, the trio made their pick and entered the arena to do battle with the Heartless. The first match was with a group of Powerwilds and Soldiers. Match number two was a face off with a Powerwild and a grouping of Green Requiems, Red Nocturnes, and Yellow Operas. Match three set the group up against a set of Powerwilds and…wait a second…is that the Guard Armor’s feet? Yep, guess they are called Hammerlegs. Jeez, that’s weird. Oh well, on with the show. By the by, it should be noted that since these are essentially just wave after wave of Heartless as with the standard Heartless battles in each world, that is why I am not going into specifics about the battle. If I lose a match, however, I will point that out. Anywho, back to the game. Match number four was a battle with five each of Red Nocturnes and Yellow Operas. Match five pitted the heroes against a Large Body and a set of Powerwilds. Match six featured some Shadows, Blue Rhapsodies, and…yep, there are the Guard Armor’s Gauntlets. The seventh showdown set the heroes against two Large Bodies and a gaggle of Green Requiems. Match number eight brought back the Gauntlets and Hammerlegs belonging to the Guard Armor as well as four Powerwilds. Match nine set the group against groups of Yellow Operas and Blue Rhapsodies and…yep, there is the Armored Torso and Head of the Guard Armor. Defeating this final group won the Games for our heroes. On top of being awarded the title of Novice Heroes and champions of the Phil Cup, Sora also obtained the power of the stars, the Gravity spell. Back in the vestibule, Hercules congratulated the group, impressed with their victory. Phil, meanwhile, told them they had a long way to go and that the next round would start soon, but this time it would be the real thing. Sora and company rolled their eyes and awaited the next challenge. Just for fun, Sora decided to try the Phil Cup again, but this time, flying solo. Even by himself, the Heartless fell before the Keyblade wave after wave until Sora stood alone, victorious once again. Defeating the Heartless earned him the Combo Plus ability. A time trial option existed, but Sora decided to wait until he had built up his strength some more. Since there was no other options available to the group, Sora and company took to their gummi ship. Inside the gummi ship, an area in space to the starboard side began to shimmer. The newly installed navigation gummi glowed and, out of nowhere, a warp hole appeared in space. The warp hole brought the gummi ship to an area of space they had yet to explore. This new area teemed with Heartless gummi ships, all hell bent on attacking the heroes. Our heroes, though almost overwhelmed, came through the fight intact and came upon a world covered in desert. In the distance, they could see both a giant Arabian palace and a cave shaped like the head of a tiger or panther. Though the world appeared hostile, it was a new world and thus could perhaps hold clues to the Heartless threat or the location of their friends. With hope in their hearts and not a little trepidation, the trio disembarked…
