I overslept on my last English conference. It was for portfolio and only worth 5/200pts for the semester. I’m holding an A so I’m not worried. It will drop my grade to an A- and I’m not going to boohoo about it cause that isn’t the point. My predicted GPA (I’ve been holding the same grades steadily) will be between 3.4-3.6 regardless of that one assignment. I’m a full time matriculating student, have no withdraws or Incompletes, no grade is lower than a C+ and a minimum quality GPA of 3.3 qualified me for Dean’s list…until I missed conference. It will either be marked as an incomplete or an F. Either way, missing that one 10 minute meeting might very well blow my chances. Finals are in May and apparently I couldn’t not fuck up until then.
