Church girls and naughty underwear in Weekly

So I have my own washer and dryer at home but sometimes for bigger things I go to the laundromat. Things like blankets and comforters. And with three small children I’m often washing the blankets and comforters. So yesterday morning was my somewhat regular laundromat trip. It’s never a fun time because I just have to sit there and wait while things wash and dry, and I often feel like I’m the only English speaker in the place.

When I opened a dryer yesterday, I saw something inside and grabbed it. It was a small very skimpy green Victoria’s Secret g-string. Not like anything I would ever normally wear. I looked around to see if there was anyone nearby who had obviously been using that machine, but didn’t see anyone. I’m sure the place has a lost and found, but something made me decide to keep it.

Even though it was obviously freshly cleaned, I know for some people that idea of wearing a complete stranger’s used underwear is a little creepy or gross, but I don’t own any g-strings and having one was suddenly very appealing to me.

When I got home, I had a text from Rachel asking me if I wanted to swim laps with her after her lifeguard shift was over. We do that from time to time, although it’s usually just her swimming laps hardcore and me splashing around in a lap.

I agreed to meet her, and I threw together a small gym bag. On a whim, I put the g-string in the bad to put on after I got out of the pool.

So we swam for a while. It’s always a good time, even though I’m not the competitive swimmer that Rachel is. If she didn’t have this gig as a lifeguard, it would never cross my mind to go to the pool and I would be left only being able to swim in the summers at the beach.

Here’s where things get weird. After I joined the church and gave up on my nudist lifestyle, I have been very uncomfortable getting naked in front of people. So on previous swimming excursions with Rachel, after we’ve gotten out of the water I have gone into one of the stalls to get dressed rather than just strip down in front of her like I used to.

But yesterday I didn’t. For some reason, yesterday I wanted to Rachel to see me putting on this g-string and I wanted her to comment on it. I wanted her to see that she wasn’t the only one in the family that could have sexy underwear. So I strip, towel off, and then put on the g-string. As expected, Rachel immediately comments. She says, “That’s cute. You wore that to the laundromat?”

I tried to play it casual, which is silly since I had gone out of my way to set up the conversation. I said, “Just what I grabbed this morning.”

Rachel laughed and said something about me being a “church girl” and that all church girls probably wear naughty underwear. Weird thing to say, but I was happy I at least got a reaction out of her.
