Little update! in Journal

Hi Guys!

I don’t think I really have much to say but just wanted to check in!

I seriously cannot wait for the work day to be over and to get to the Easter long weekend!! I need to make sure I’m productive and don’t waste it but I am also looking forward to not having to set an alarm for at least one of the days!

You would think that losing those 3lbs at last week’s weigh in would have spurred me on for this week, but no! I was too lazy to do a food shop on Sunday and didn’t prep anything for the week so my diet has not been great this week at all. Still enjoying the exercise though! I went to Ross yesterday but for some reason I felt super tired yesterday so Ross suggested I did a half hour session last night and then a slightly longer one today! I still worked really hard though, I did 2 lots of circuits, 4 times each. The first one was 15 dumbbell swings, 10 weighted lunges with a side raise arm thing and then 30 seconds of skipping and the second one was 10 lat pull downs, 10 cable presses and 250m on the rowing machine. So I still felt like I worked quite hard! I am nervous about this week’s weigh in though. It’s a day earlier because of the bank holiday weekend and when I weighed myself at home this morning I was about a pound heavier than last week and that was before I had eaten anything! I kind of tempted to ask Ross if I can skip it this week and blame it on the time of the month but the I kind of think I should just man up and do it. I only have 4 weeks of sessions left now so I really need to knuckle down and stick to it to make to best of the remaining time! I should take my 8 week photos this weekend as well but I’m not really expecting to see much of a difference from the 4 week ones.

I have 2 Robyn and Drew free weekends coming up to look forward to which is really exciting! They are going to visit Robyn’s family in London next weekend and then the first weekend in May Robyn is taking Drew away to Jersey for his birthday! I am super excited to have the flat to myself although that is usually when I end up bingeing. It’s a really bad habit that I got into when I was living with Andrew because he kind of policed what I ate a bit so whenever I had an evening home alone I would make sure I made the most of it and ate something unhealthy. It’s silly because it always makes me feel horrible and I don’t always even enjoy what I’m eating, I just kind of feel like I should because I’m not sure when I’s next get to eat ‘what I want’ when I’m by myself. Paul has started watching what he’s eating now as well because he wants to lose 2 stone before we go on holiday so hopefully that should help!
