Well, it’s almost midnight on the 31st, but I’ll throw in that it’s one week till I turn a year older. :( Dang it!!!!!! I used to like birthdays and I guess I do now that I have a husband who loves me and wants the best for me! So I guess I need to look at the positive rather than the fact that I’m almost a YEAR from turning FORTY :( :( :( I might hint that I want a HUGE party on my 40th! lol Make the pain a little less! My brother did okay turning 40 this year…I guess I’ll be okay. I’m hoping my body has a lot of change to it by the time I’m 40. No better time than the present to do just that.

Last week I was called about another part time/temp job at the local University. December 1st I started a temp job at the University and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED working there! I LOVED my job and I LOVED who I worked with! I was very sad when it came time to leave. Sad part was, I had to be done two days early because the herniated disk in my back started being a butt. So…one of the ladies I worked with called me and told me about a temp position opening and suggested I talked with my old boss. So I called him up and he filled me in and I said I’d love to do it. So…we emailed a little bit about it and then I wrote him a couple emails, but never heard back from him. So this afternoon, Terry and I went to DQ for dinner (gotta love their $5 meals) and the lady who called me about the job had called me again. So I called her back and I told her that I would email my boss and let him know that Monday would be best to start because I’m kind of fighting some cough/raspy crap in my lungs. Well, I went to email him and I thought that I should check his email address....sure enough, I had been sending the emails to another address who has the same name as him. SO I wrote him to HIS address and he responded and said, “See you Monday.” He’s a man of few words. When I was done with my then job, he wrote me the best recommendation letter I have ever gotten in my years of having a job; and I’ve had some good ones! I just about cried when I read it, BECAUSE, he never really saw me work. He saw me sitting on the bench waiting for them to arrive in the morning. He saw me go straight to work and stay there unless I needed to use the restroom. He saw me leave on time. He saw me make up time if I had to miss a day of work. Which I hardly ever did. I think I missed 3 or 4 days in a three month period. Two of them being my first week. And two of them being the last two. But the others I had to take off, I made up for. He saw the production I was doing and how fast I was doing it. I had to move classes from one server to another and I started out slow as there were some HUGE classes (online courses) but then it started to go faster and I was moving between 80 and 100 classes a day. And I only worked 4 hours a day. And if I worked 5 hours, I did more. I never complained, I always loved being there. I brought in treats a few times. I made each of them a card telling them thank you for hiring me and I had the best time working there and I’m sad to leave. So the letter he wrote me, I was shocked. He noticed everything and made sure whoever was going to hire me next, knew it. I was so beyond blessed!

Soooooooooooooo…I start back on Monday for another three months. But this time, I won’t be in one set place. I’ll be here and there, wherever I’m needed. But I’ve learned, from working at the University already, that I’m capable of learning. I’m capable of learning anything, as long as the one teaching me, is patient. I love having the morning away from home. It gives me a chance to miss Terry and to be making money. I have to say, I did a really good job with my last paychecks I got. I bought a new laptop and I had to buy Microsoft Office to put on it. I paid my tithe, I paid for the car insurance. I paid for a few meals we went to. Bowling. I still have $10 left! lol And that’s only because I bought dinner tonight at DQ! lol

I guess I’m paying for Terry to go bowl a few games tomorrow. They’re really sweet too because they only charge him $2 a game instead of $3. He pays for league price and he’s not on a league yet! So that’s cool! The rest of the week is just a whatever. Getting to bed earlier needs to happen as well. Crap, I didn’t take my pills yet....Ok…all 12 are down.

Well, I just got down downloading about 14 files to my computer. I take pics of the cards I make and then mail them to myself and save them to my computer. I fill up a friend’s email with them too! :) But I think she likes it! :)

Have a great April 1st! SO hard to believe April is here already....time is going by super fast.....
