Brrrrrrrrrrrr... in Another Open Diary refugee

It's turned COLD here! I had to dig out my long pants before John took me to get groceries last night, and then I put the quilt on the bed because I didn't think the fleece blanky would be enough. As it was, I kicked the quilt off halfway through the night and the only person who got benefit from it was the cat, but she was happy... John told me to open the windows today, so I struggled with them and I'm sitting here in my long pants again while the breeze blows through. The cats were VERY interested because they could hear duckies when I first opened them. One downside of the cold is I feel like crud. I decided not to go to church today because I just didn't feel up to it. I have to go to the bank and John wanted to take me before he went to work so then I could get the laundry done this morning but I said we'd do it when he got home instead. I've got enough quarters for one load and I really don't feel up to doing more than that today anyway.
