I think i mentioned in my last entry that I’ve decided I’m going to write my book. I have a (working) title and have literally been writing chapters in my head for the last year.

So I went ahead and spent the weekend drafting up a kickstarter. (www.kickstarter.com) It’s scary. You have about 30 days to fundraise and you only actually succeed if you get ALL of the money raised.

My goal is $2,500, which is NOTHING compared to so many other projects out there. I’m not sure exactly what i’m doing but i know i want to take this as far as i can. I don’t want to settle for an “E-book.” Though, that’s an awesome first goal. I think i have MORE than that with this. I want to see it in STORES.

It’s scary. My first step is to buy that new little laptop (hello – it’s only $199.) and then i can really start writing.

I’m not doing this for ME. I’m doing this for Joshua. I’m doing this for every other person out there who’s living this HELL of a life with someone with Autism. Because this shit is HARD. And we need all of the support we can get.

I will come back and post the link once my kickstarter launches. I’m not asking for donations, but maybe a few “shares” and some support. This is a big dream and a big project and i KNOW i can do it.
