The Year Just Started And Two Deaths! in General Randomness

So this year sucks so far. In January our cat Balin died. That hurts so bad. And then in February a dear old friend from church died. And now we have another cat, Gimli, that is sick. We took him to the vet Saturday but they won’t know what’s wrong until Monday. He seems fine but he has lost a lot of weight in a short time. We’re hoping that it is nothing but it has been too close after Balin and that makes us easily scared. But the vet has assured us that there is no way Gimli has what Balin had.
