Well, another week/month gone. Did my expenses for work last week and it shows another 2,000 miles in a 4-week period. And that’s just business miles. It doesn’t take into account any miles I did for myself, i.e. driving to the seat fettler. Nearly 60,000 in 25 months is pretty high for the UK. Still, getting closer to the magic 75,000 mark and new car time!

Weather here is up and down still. Was lovely yesterday and I was looking forward to getting out on the bike this weekend. Needless to say, it’s pi**ed it down today! I really do need a cheap runaround bike so I can get out and about and not worry about cleaning it afterwards! LOL.

Got a new bike ramp delivered yesterday. It’s a hydraulic one so that I can pump it up to a decent level to work at and not have to bend over all the time. The old back isn’t as supple as it used to be and generally complains when I bend too much! Lee and I are hoping to get an old bike to do up between us. A nice father and son project. Despite his accident he is still into bikes and I am sure when he gets his prosthetic leg sorted he will do everything he can to get back on two wheels.

He’s going to be putting his Ford Mustang up for sale on E-Bay in the next couple of weeks. We’ve just had it serviced and MOT’d so its good to go. It will be sad to see it go, but he can say he has owned one for a couple of years, even if it has just sat on the drive going nowhere. Bit of a waste really, but you know what youngsters are like when they get a bit of money!

House Re-Furb 2 starts on Monday. Our en-suite is getting the makeover this time. We’re having everything done for this one , including the floor. At the moment we have quite a step into the actual shower cubicle, so we’re having a low tray put in that will make it almost like a wet room. Hopefully , it will only take about 10 days again. We’re using the same company that did the kitchen. They were really good last time so I expect the same sort of standard this time too. Of course, I’ll be taking photos again.

March 11th I’m taking some leave and we are going down to the caravan until Sunday 15th. We’re really looking forward to getting down there again as well as seeing Vicki, of course. It’s really nice being able to get away and not have to worry about where we’re going to stay. One of the best things I think we’ve invested in.

Seems like eldest daughter is coming round to the idea of eldest grandson coming on the bike. She’s even been looking for proper bike boots for him on E-Bay. She told me she was looking for size 6. I said “but I thought he was only a size 5?” She said” Yes, but he can wear thick socks with them and size 6 would fit me as well! “ LOL Seems she wants a go too! I had to laugh. She has been on most of my bikes with me at one time or another and I know she still loves riding.

Well, that’s all for now. Just a quick catch-up. Oh yeah, the shoulder has fully recovered now. As I suspected it was all muscular, but there is no lasting effect and I’m all better.

Stay Safe, people.
