First Day of Vacation in In the Meadow

The kids are on vacation from school this week. It has been very cold the past two days. Yesterday the kids were able to go out and play in the snow for a short while. Today it is just too cold to be outside. We have the basement set up as an activity room. The kids were able to run around down there and get out some of their energy. Now we are watching the movie Forrest Gump. I was in college when this movie came out. I remember I had a Forrest Gump movie poster on the wall in my dorm room.

We had sandwiches, raisins, and bananas for lunch. I think we will have chicken stew for dinner.
