I was not well this weekend. I started getting cold symptoms on Friday evening. I felt rough Saturday. I started feeling better on Sunday. I imagine this means I have given it to my family. If I have, I hope they get over it as quickly as I have. In any case, this all means I did almost nothing at the weekend.
I did manage to blow up my kindle. That upset me. I blame Neil Gaiman. I had just reached the end of Stardust, and was about to rate it on facebook, and it went pop. It does actually still half work, but the wifi has failed and battery life is down from a month to a week. So, I need a new Kindle. I didn’t even manage to publish my rating.
Last night was creative writing class. We were looking at play writing. This is not something that I have ever tried before. I was quite fun though. Next week there is no class. I managed to have a conversation with the transexual member of the class. She’s quite nice, but a bit odd.SHe never makes eye contact. I think that’s aspergers. Anyway, I’m glad I made contact. She doesn’t seem to have friends there.
I like the postsecret blog. If you haven’t had a look, I recommend it. It’s a very simple idea; people are invited to send in anonymous secrets on a postcard and a selection are displayed each week on Sunday. I know, it sounds a bit limp, but it’s actually quite thought provoking. This week I particularly liked:
