Long week in Trying to stay one step ahead

I finished my work week yesterday and now am on my weekend. It's nice to have 4 days off in a row but a compressed 48 hr. week can be tiring. It's not too bad when it is busy but the airport was quiet this week and not much happening. I did write my security test though and passed so I'm good for another year I do get a kick out of some people that go to the airport though. Are they so excited their brains go in neutral. Have to wonder, Favorite question I get at least once a day is Do you work here? I would love to say no I just wear a uniform and a radio for something to do and that's not counting the dorky looking hats we have to wear. Been busy at home as my husband was in Ottawa all week so just Mom and me. He is home until Friday and then goes to Arizona for about 10 days. I plan on taking Mom for her flu shot and she wants to get her hair cut. She is almost 90 so it will take a few hours and use up most of my patience. I just grit my teeth and say the Serenity Prayer, Since she moved in it gets said a lot Lol.
