1st entry in Prosebox in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Ok. I did it. I have also started a journal here. I will stay at Open Diary but hope to meet new friends and connect with my OD friends who have came here, as a "just in case". I think OD will stay afloat but too many bonds have been created on OD to chance ever losing touch with them. So, I guess PB is our safety net. I have no clue how long PB has been around or its record of keeping up and running, but I know that OD has continued to make improvements and on occasion has some down time. I work for a company that the systems have "down time" periodically. We don't like it, but we can't move to another site to get our work done. We must be patient, work on non-internet supported systems and move on to do the best we can. WE the electronic automation crazy society has put us in the no patience world. Years ago, I said, well if the systems go down it won't kill us. Now, I'm not so sure. Welcome to any new friends and to my OD friends, thank God we found each other. :)
