If You Could Read My Mind in General

“If I could read your mind, love
What a tale your thoughts could tell
Just like a paperback novel
The kind the drugstores sell
When you reach the part where the heartaches come
The hero would be me
But heroes often fail
And you won’t read that book again
Because the ending’s just too hard to take”

-Gordon Lightfoot

Well we get another break today. Before the next fricking snow storm.

The plows and snow blowers have been pretty nice about not filling in everyone’s driveway. They must have got complaints. This landscaping company manages to drag every storm out for five day by constantly delaying the clearing process. So every time you think it is over you hear the “beep! beep! beep!” of their equipment as they push the banks back and clear the sidewalks.

I am lucky, because I am living on my retirement. But I gotta get a job. I need burn money. The basics are covered, but I need the flexibility that cash brings.

Just thinking out loud here.
