friends in Snippets

I had a lot of friends. None of them were my age except for Bobby. They were all adults. I knew everybody on our block. and beyond. I would disappear from after breakfast and if I wasn't hanging out with Bobby I found my way to everybodys place. I had almost 40 places I could go within two blocks of my house.. When I was 4 I used to take the bus downtown and ride the elevator of the shopping mall. The guy Eric who controlled it took me for pop on his braks. Sometimes I even had french fries and gravy. My wife says this was so wrong on so many levels. I should never have been allowed on a bus without an adult. And did no one notice the 4 yer old wandering downtown all by himself. I did it every week. Sometimes bobby went with me.
