Dear Readers,
I am Gus Raines mom and would like to take this opportunity to thank all the many readers of my son’s entries. You have no idea how excited he gets when I send him all the comments you make to his writings. Lately he has been writing a little bit differently and some of you may not like it. My son is a unique person with a talent for the written word. His writings tell me what his frame of mind is.
I am asking you to please let him know that you are reading his stories by just sending a comment that says you like it or why you didn’t like it. Just something to remind him that he is not alone.
He has lost two close friends this past year and I know that it has been bothering him. I am just really worried about him and thought that maybe I could have a little help reminding him that he does matter.
I want to thank each and every one of you that has taken the time to read his stories. It means the world to me to know that there are good people out there. I wish you could know how hard this is for me. I miss him so much it tears a little bit of my heart away every time I think of him there.
