finally even with a little cough (i brought cough drops and did in fact truly cover my mouth at the theater)- i finally saw american sniper.
i will not ruin the movie for anyone else but i will say just a few things.
the movie blew me away.
when i saw the commercial from the way it was shot i just knew i would like this movie. when leaving the theater i stated this WAS the best modern day warfare movie i have seen. here are my top three modern day war movies.
- american sniper.
- zero dark thirty
- black hawk down
i will say i cried in the beginning of the movie and i also cried at the end of the movie. i left the movie theater crying. it made me want to learn more about chris kyle. it made me want to learn more about the what was going on iraq during these years when i was running around doing who knows what- this guy and many other people were serving in the military protecting us. i can write more about it but i will say. yes its a fantastic movie. the direction - i should have known clint eastwood made this movie and bradley cooper- wow. just WOW. what a role he played and SO WELL.
i would suspect he may win an oscar for his role perhaps even best picture and best director. the best MODERN day war movie i have ever seen. this is NO bullshit what goes down in war. no embelishments and this movie reminds you this. it also shows the DEDICATION chris and MANY men and women give to serve. just an incredible movie. i would recommend anyone to see. reminds me of my freedom and how others allow me to live free. so i thank them. i thank them all those living and those who have passed.
EVERYONE LEFT THAT MOVIE IN SILENCE or TEARS.
