~Day 9 – What was the most creative excuse you've come up with to get out of a date, an appointment, or doing a task?
While this is a hard one b/c nothing is coming to mind? Only thing I can come up with and yes I know it was wrong was when working in Vegas I wanted 3 days off to just get some rest and so I told my boss my Grandfather had died and I needed a few days off and she told me to go ahead and take all the time I needed...
Now to clear things up my Grandfather did die it just happened to have been in 1996 and this was in 2008....So did I really lie, Fine line right? Because I never told her when he died just that he had died...
Some will say I did lie but I don't think so,I just Mis~Lead her and I don't believe you can count that as a real lie...
If he still been alive then yea it's was a lie I just left out the year and time...But at the time it was that 3 days I needed or quit my job which I needed...I just needed a break but using my Grandfathers death to take it was wrong...
But I know my Grandfather and he would have gotten a kick out of it and wish he had thought of that one.........
