As promised, here are the photos of the finished kitchen. I say finished, there are one or two other touches we need to do till we’re happy with it.
We’ve got a new wall clock on order. We bought one that was supposed to be stuck on the wall, with the workings in the centre , but when we received it, it looked really cheap n nasty so we both said, “Uh uh. Not in this kitchen!” (OK so we’re getting snobbish in our old age!) But you know when things are right for YOUR furnishings. So now we’ve ordered one that is in the shape of a frying pan (black, of course) so hopefully that will be here next week.
Dawn also painted the tiles in the utility room. They were a dull beige colour that matched the previous kitchen ones, so she prepped them then used white tile paint to bring it in line. However, with the black “splash-back” in the kitchen it looked a bit odd, so we’ve ordered a couple of mosaic tiles that can be cut to whatever shape/size we want so we will be able to carry on the theme through to that room as well. THEN it will be complete, oh, except for the window blind, which is on order but we have to wait 2 weeks for it to be made! LOL
