I hate days like this! I slept well, of that I am sure, but I just feel so drained of energy. Having to mouth breath ‘cos my nose is blocked, headache, and just feel generally BLEUH!

Called in sick to work, second time in 2 years. Had to cancel two appointments and re-book them for next week, another thing I hate cos I feel I’m letting patients down. So I’m sitting here trying not to feel sorry for myself. And before anyone starts I DO NOT suffer from Man-Flu! I normally work through feeling sniffly etc, but this has just knocked me for 6. I don’t feel that achy so it’s not proper flu. I even let Dawn take the dogs out on her own today, which didn’t please Honey! She misses her Dad and lets it be known by sitting down on the drive and digging her heels in! LOL It’s funny to watch but frustrating at the same time , for Dawn anyway!

New lights are up in the kitchen, just waiting for the new clock to arrive then it will all be finished. I’m holding back on the “finished” photos till we get everything in place, but they will be posted soon, I promise.

Weather is cold, and a little wet here, today. But it was forecast we were due for some sleet/snow. Not materialised and looking at the sky I don’t think it will either. Not going to risk going out on the bike though. Just not got the strength.

Car is in the dealers tomorrow to have a drivers door seal replaced. Apparently they are stuck on, and the bottom of mine has become unstuck and dangling out the door! Not ideal in cold and wet weather! Shouldn’t be a long job though so I’ll take my iPad and wait for it.

I hope I feel better by the weekend as there is a huge Autojumble not to far away that I want to go to. Dawn doesn’t want me to go because I might buy something! LOL

My football (soccer to US people!) team, Liverpool, drew with Chelsea last night in the semi-final of one of the season’s competitions. The second leg is next week at Chelsea’s ground. Liverpool played really well and should have won. Match stats say they had 20 attempts to Chelsea’s one! They hit the post, and the Chelsea goalkeeper was given man of the match because he had to play so well!

So, Seahawks v Patriots in the Superbowl. Didn’t see that coming. Think i’ll be rooting for Seahawks for this one. Be nice if Tampa Bay Buccs can get back to the way they were a few seasons ago!

Ok, I’ve rambled enough. Struggling to think straight here.
Take Care , people.
