We got our trial box of the Naturebox (healthy snacks) monthly subscription yesterday! The regular monthly box has 5 large bags of snacks in it but this trial one just had one big bag and 4 small ones. They sent random stuff and it was all really delicious. The kids woke up from their nap and devoured the whole thing except for one small snack I ate myself since it was jalapeño cashews which I knew would be too hot for them. I love hot stuff and cashews so they were an awesome treat. The big bag had blueberry nom noms in it which are like soft blueberry cookies. I had one bite but could have easily eaten the whole bag. There were also tomato flavored almonds, sunflower and sesame seed mini crackers and a dried fruit mix with pomegranate, blueberry and cranberries in it. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy them all since they’re all very healthy but they were amazing. I just had a bite of everything to try it besides the cashews and the kids ate the rest and wanted more lol. There was quite a bit too once you put all the snacks together. Apparently the full sized box is already on its way to us and there was some kind of error so 2 are being sent. I used a promo code to get the first month for around $17 but I am going to cancel because $27 a month is too expensive. It’s fun to try anyways :)
In other news, Cody had his first skating lesson on Sunday! We put him in an age 2-3 one for parents and tots since we didn’t think he would be ready to do a lesson without either of us yet. He can still be whiny and clingy so it’s better for one of us to be with him. So anyways, he went on the ice with Mike while I watched Miles run around and tried to watch them a bit. They had the kids practising standing up on rubber mats on the ice and then trying to stand up on the ice. Cody was doing well but 3/4 of the way through he had had enough and just started to cry Mommy and didn’t want to do it anymore. Mike got frustrated with him but I think he did great for a first lesson and next time I am going to do the lesson with him because I am more patient. There’s 12 lessons do I think he will eventually figure it out :) He said he’s willing to go back next week so that’s good enough for me.
