Well, the professionals have finally finished the kitchen. After the little faux pas with the tiles, they are now all in place and look pretty damn awesome. The tiler even put a small chrome edging around the tops and it sets it off perfectly with all the stainless steel appliances we have. Only thing left to do now is painting the rest of the walls and Dawn will be doing that this weekend.
Yes, I said Dawn will be doing it. She enjoys doing that, and I won’t be sitting on my butt doing nothing. We bought some new furniture for her sewing room ( cum dining room!) and true to modern day fashion the bloody stuff has come flat packed! I HATE flat packs! But anyway, that’s what I’ll be doing this weekend. There’s a new desk and a sideboard. It’s in sort of distressed teak, and Lee bought her a drawer unit in the same style for christmas, so she’s really made up that we could find furniture to match.
