special yes I seem to be
glaring lights just for me
nothing but a super star
super fans, souped up car
blood red lips with fancy clothes
stunning I’m from head to toe
just the person for you to see
cost a bit but worth the fee
product made of flesh and blood
adorned in gold for you to love
happening hip and in the scene
polished up and minty clean
I’m the dream that is unfilled
the thing inside that life has killed
the life that lives inside your dreams
you can watch it on your TV screen

Granted I listened to the song until it seared itself into my mind; but the last lines reminded me of a stanza in the song "Cells" by The Servant.
