For the past week I have been glued to the weather maps. Leaving this afternoon Doris will begin out weekend with 18-25 deg temps and more or less have that be the expectations for Saturday and Sunday as well. What we have missed is SNOW ( fingers crossed ) for the weekend. The main part of our trips a visit to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania for the last of their Holiday Light Show ( outdoors ) We are also going to two top notch restaurants, tonight one in the Wilmington De area, Krasy Kats and Saturday on named Dilworth Inn another dress top notch establishment.

Doris just texted me saying she was leaving to have her hair and her nails done and she will be looking BE A U T I F U L. I believe her and it was also nice to hear how excited she is about the weekend.

I also have a surprise for her. I ordered from Lands End a White monogramed robe to present to her this evening. Naturally, this is something I am sure she will appreciate.

Sunday morning we are planned for a Brunch and then a leisurely drive home. Then back to reality.

Next Friday we have tickets to see a stage performance celebration for Elvis’ 80 the Birthday. We have a 3rd ticket for Doris’s neighbor as thanks for her always watching Rusty, Doris’ cat, but she has had a stroked and won’t be able to attend so Athena my ex tenant and workmate will come with us. She is an Elvis fanatic and is highly excited about joining us.
