I am getting married on Saturday to Valerie.!!!! We met at Church on 05 October 2014. We went out that day after the service and had lunch at the café, and we got to know each other. Then we went from there over to Starbucks and spent the rest of the day there laughing, and talking and taking pictures and doing a whole bunch of fun things together. I had to catch the bus and it was cold that evening and I was kissing her so passionately and I had to get on the bus. I left there as the bus was pulling away and all I could think about was her..
We talked every day on the phone for hours. and one night we talked for TEN hours straight!!!! I had to go to work that day with no sleep, I was SO tired, lol, Then she mentioned that she wanted to move out of her place and into this apartment that I knew wasn’t in a very good neighborhood. I told her that I had a second bedroom. ha ha. We made plans for us to meet each other at the mall and I was going to take the bus. As The Lord’s grace would have it. her truck was impounded and she had to get it legal. Mine wasn’t running and neither as hers. So she now had a way that we could meet because she got her truck out of the impound yard. She came over the weekend of 14-16 November to spend the weekend together, and when it came time for her to go that Sunday night. I told her that she was home for good. She’s moved in with me and we’ve been together ever since.
Then we went to Jared, a jewelry store “just to look” and with God’s grace once again, we walked out with a wedding band set that went through on the credit application…I’ll have to figure out how to put pictures up on here someday.
But long story short, at 3pm on Saturday we will be married in her Mom’s living room by her Nephew. We’ve written our vows, Next month, we’re getting a used truck (I want a Dodge Ram 1500), in April we will visit Missouri for a week, then in late May we’re moving!!!!
How’s that for the New Year’s so far? Ha ha ha ha
