Surprised in A Ways Away

Today, I got a call from someone I hadn’t heard from, in over six years. Most people would rather ignore reconnecting, some would simply end the call with an excuse of being busy. For me.. I felt compelled to answer; seeing their name on the screen, realizing I still have the same phone number and so do they. I was honestly surprised. They fell into faith long before I revisited my own and had been swept away on a journey curated just for them. Now, I believe that God has brought us back to each other. Do I know why? No, not yet.. but I’m more than willing to follow through. I missed them and it was great to hear from them again. I feel excited about the new journey.
