Hello. Nothing really happened that much in May. I'm really late in doing this update thingie just because things are goofy. Not really that goofy but it's just been a bit dull sauce.
I got my permanent nose ring earlier this week, and its really nice and its settled in, it doesn't have the ball and now i'm not afraid of knocking the ball when I wack my nose. Its locked in and its 100% of me and in a few months when things stabilize (hah) ill get the other side I think.But thats all. No septum, no eyebrow, now lip or anything. I really like my nose piercing and I think symmetry will be cool.
In Non gaming news, I went to a Pirates game, my first since 2012 this month, (actually thursday) it was fun. It was such a beautiful day, PNC is an amazing ball park, not a bad site, and the other views were nice as well. Pirates lost but it was a good day overall (aside from the 7 dollar bottle of coke)
In gaming news, I got an expansion for a game I got for christmas (Scythe: Expeditions), and I repurposed some of the art which I'll post a picture of in a second. I am still waiting on World Order which is kind of annoying me ATM. They started shipping last week and still nothing. And what is REALLY annoying is the distributor does not send out shipping emails. So im giving them until wednesday, then I will email them and the publisher every day until I get my notification. Nothing malicious but thats the best way to do it.
I also got Starfield (it was on sale) but haven't played due to me wanting to finish Suikoden V which i started this month. I also downloaded Neverness to Everness (NTE) and let me tell you what. Ive never felt more conflicted over a game. The open world is cool. You are never going to be bored if you dont want to be bored. The gacha system is fun (its set up like a board game and you roll dice and whatever you land on is what you get) and the whole guarantees are cool... BUT.. I am struggling with the combat. i just feel like i'm button mashing. The characters are..... meh to decent (mint is cute, and there is one character who is supposed to be like a dommy mommy kind but she makes me uncomfortable, it is way way over the top, especially since there was a character story where she kind of hits on the MC who I'm hoping is at least 18. It just was really really uncomfortable. I wouldn't use her in combat but she's a good tank. The story is also meh. There are kernels of a good game there, but I dunno. I'm leaning towards dropping it.. but eh. The Open world is really cool and there is a lot to do but.. that combat.. Bleh.
Other than that. I need to start looking for the remote job. I am going to soon. And I have to sell a bunch of crap. Blargh. There was a depressive episode that hit me earlier in the month. I'm mostly over it. My self confidence has settled in. This month its gone from 2 to 3.5 and its settled in at a 3. The ring has helped. But eh whatever. I just need motivation, energy, pip, vitality or something.
