My apologies to people who have had problems getting into the site. Who knew that transferring a web domain could be such a pain in the... prosebox?

Good news is that the site is rocketing forward into a new frontier. Soon, I'll be forcing everyone to SSL (you know, the https in your browser bar with the little lock next to it. And if that lock isn't there, you never ever EVER submit your credit card information to anyone on the web - yeah, THAT lock). But I'll wait a few days, since this first step has been painful for some and I don't wish to accidentally introduce new pain just yet.

But for those of you who want to boldly go... where no Proseboxterian (for those of you know don't like the boxer moniker) has gone before...

Are you tired of the NSA intercepting your web traffic, reading your prose book? Do you wish you had 256-bit encryption? There you go. You can be my secure beta testers. :)

I don't know about the website stuff, but that's a great scene in a great movie!

Fancy. I quite like that little green lock. So far everything seems fine. Is there anything to be looking out for specifically in terms of problems? :)

As long as you're able to hit the site through https (and stay there as you navigate around), and don't see weird warnings about invalid certificates or whatnot, it's pretty much a success. :)

Then consider it a success. :D

Thanks, I shall sleep better now. I shudder to think of the power NSA could wield over the universe if they had access to my briefings on quantum theory, lung flutes, time travel, vegetables, and theology.

But seriously, as PB gets bigger, I suppose it will become a target for various hackers / spammers / mischief makers. OD apparently was. Best to nip that as early as possible by protecting our packets. Encryption is good.
