The days carry on, though if I keep sleeping like a crumpled wet paper bag I might jump off a cliff lol work is oddly busy even tho year end is over… some folks really make me shake my head. The work party is May 1st… the theme is beach vacation. I am really not a beach girl- so I bought me a fancy goth inspired tulle mini dress with stars and moons on it. My back up partner and I are gonna match- a little baby goth moment just for funsies. I have new lacy tights to wear already and knee high boots- just need cute nails and a good hair cut the night before lol
Weekends have been busy lately.. usually plans with some faction of the girls every other weekend or so..: not this weekend just passed tho- I was dead and slept most of it and rotted my brain with Netflix. This weekend is craft fair and thrifting… thrifting should be less expensive lol but I have been lucky to find some really nice pairs of lululemon tights for 1/3 of the retail price so I love it. A couple weekends ago I scored a $200 OVO (iykyk) sweatshirt for like $50. I don’t know who hurt the person that had to clean out their closet and parted with that gem but I am thankful lol
My mothers moods are getting worse and worse- the diabetes being compounded with the increasing loss of mobility (due to not trying to be active since her vertebrae fusion a few years back) is really making her more of a terror than ever. I am unsure how my father stayed married to her all these (45) years… I personally would have committed homicide lol on the positive side, dads doing so well since his left knee replacement back in November.
Ohhh I’ve been cooking recently again. Chilli, turkey fried rice with eggs. Last week I baked confetti sugar cookies for the going away party we had at work for my colleague who was going to a new work place… today I had 5 people ask if I had more/ when I was making more. They were good, aparantly lol I don’t mind cooking tbh, but baking… that’s like a whole science and takes so much concentration from me cause it has to be perfect.
Hmmm I guess that’s it for now.. much longer than normal lol
Ohh I been having fun with that random NGL app that you post the link and people ask or say random stuff to you… so interesting how many have said they’re in love with me/ have a crush on me/ miss me etc etc
