so in quick summary this is another story about moses and his journey to free the israelites from slavery.
of course conveyed in the most hollywood of ways.

i have faith and in some cases i chose not to examine certain things when it comes to god. i rather take it in and believe it. i have had too many miracles that have occured in my life to see it in another way. however that is JUST my opinion and you see things your way also.

it was interesting though. i love watching history channel and i have watched plenty of shows about theories or conspiracy about god, jesus in how he lived, mary or perhaps john whichever you chose to think is in the last supper picture that davinci painted. i usually find them interesting and just think about it. they examined and gave scientific explanation about several events that god used to let raamases “he should let his people go”

the plagues (water turning into blood, frogs, flies, locust, all the animals dying etc.) is because of scientific “cause and effect” is how it was shown. even with moses through god dividing the seas to have the israelites cross over ----they stated in the movie he never divided the sea but rather a tsunami or low tide occured at that very moment and the sea opened up (for a day??!!?) and they were able to cross to the other side

another big part in my opinion about this movie is – they chose to explain more about moses, god, and some of the events that occured during this period in more of a scientific way versus just from a spiritual sense. also i found it sort of weird that they chose to have christian bale (who i adore) play moses. whenever i think about anything related to god, jesus, mary, or whomever in that period of time. i guess i just never pictured christian bale to play this role including MANY others in the movie but what i got most from his actual performance is technically while moses was in fact a former egyptian prince he portrayed him more of really being a leader in every sense of the word with having alot of combat military skills and combat intelligence. never pictured moses in this way but i could see how he could use these skills in taking the lead in leading the israelites out of egypt.

also a “messenger” to speak to moses versus god. almost like an ancient alien sort of messenger. it was interesting. just alot to think about.

but i believe what is written at the end of the day and i chose to believe whatever god tells me. however i did marvel over egypt in the movie. a place i would want to go to one day. i would also love to go to israel.
i hear due to the climate over there in giza it is pretty quiet and there are not alot of visitors there so its a great time to go. i have heard all my life israel is very safe and i know from my job they have some of the best military and security technologies/protection in the world. i hope at some point i get to go there.

also never knew moshe meant moses.
also never knew the red seas seperated saudi arabia, yemen, sudan etc.
its very interesting to learn about history and place it on a map visually. i think i appreciate it more as i get older.
