A pleasant English morning! in The Opening Book.

Imagine the scene, I’ve had my morning cup of coffee, I’m sat at my computer with a plate with two pieces of warm toast covered with a slightly bitter marmalade, and at my feet lies my Westie; a pleasant English morning! OD opens wonderfully quick, yes it did this morning! As I catch up with friends around the world I hear a sound, looking down I see Lola sitting by my feet, I look closer – she is chewing at the corner of a file-box with my computer and printer manuals; she’s sitting under my chair [brave dog!] looking a little angry – they do that – Westie!!
