Seems that I’ve ended up being ghosted by the M.E.’s office. Oh well. Think I just got a job yesterday for maintenance at a grocery store. Which I don’t mind too much, it’s better than not working and I desperately need the money since I haven’t been sent any offers to do any archaeology work.
Thinking of maybe going back to school in the fall, although I don’t really know for what. I decided months ago that trying to obtain an M.A. in archaeology would just put me more in-depth for a field that is not growing. Maybe I’ll do something medical.
All this thinking and searching for jobs made me realize that I’ve never had a “dream job.” I’ve had jobs that I would rather do than some others, but never one that I wanted for the rest of my life, y’know? My dreams in life have always been outside of an occupation, mostly dealing with traveling and seeing the world.
Anyways, perhaps this summer I could do a little traveling before I potentially go back to school. The only difficult part would be having enough money to do so while paying off some of my debt. A friend of mind just got back from a month in Europe, which made me want to travel even more. I’m more interested in Asia however.
