I made the dress yesterday.
In true Ginger Snap form, I decided to split the difference between Version A and Version B. I actually cut out the pattern to make Version B (the longer, more flared version), knowing that if I completely hated it, I could always alter the dress after sewing it to create Version A.
After sewing, I thought version B was a tad too long, but I liked the slight flare. So I cut off two inches from the hem, and then hand-rolled the shorter hem into place.
Voila!

The dress actually falls right at the knee (I don’t think you can tell from the photo), and it’s even cuter on me than I imagined it would be!
I wore it on my date with Hy last night.
