I’ve been playing around on my computer this morning. I think I need to take an Apple class because there’s so much more that you can do with this puppy than just emails and diary entries! I’d love to figure out how to make beautiful photo collages and be able to put them together into a book…either to print out or have online so that others can access it. There are some cool templates, and I was trying to play around with them just now, but I am sort of Apple-tarded and couldn’t figure out how to drag photos in correctly, so there ya go.

Instant Update: I have now clicked around on the Apple sight and have scheduled myself a class on Monday at the Apple store! How perfect! I can go to the store and learn how to play with pictures and then maybe get a little Christmas/Birthday shopping done (Grrr’s birthday is December 10th).

I’m struggling for things to write about. This one entry a day thing is not as easy as it seems. Plus, Grrrr keeps asking me about what I’m writing in the morning. I keep telling him that I’m writing in a journal and I would think that would be enough for him. Maybe he thinks I’m posting photos of him all over the place (!!!!).

Last night was a success!! Even though there were a couple moments of strain yesterday, we had such a great evening with Danielle and her friend before they went to their concert. And then we went to the surprise party, which was very cool. Our neighbor was EXTREMELY surprised. I think she screamed for five minutes!

And Grrrr was so great sort of hovering around as I talked to a bunch of different people. We both had a glass of wine and then he brought me glasses of water and then another 1/2 glass of wine and then juice and soda. So sweet!

I made a new friend, I think. A woman who’s in my business. We have a lot in common and we ended up talking about everything under the sun in addition to work. I would love some new friends. New perspective. I love my girlfriends dearly, but I never get to see Best Bud and my other girlfriends seem to have a bit of flakiness to them. Anyway. We’ll see how this turns out. I’m fascinated by Donna (the birthday girl), and she was the one who introduced us. So I’m hoping we can all get together sometime soon.

At the end of the night, as we were walking back down the hall and to our loft, Grrrrrr pulled me close and gave me a hug and said, “SUCCESS!!!”

And I love him so much for that because he is sooooooo right!!

I’m hoping for another successful day today. Here we go!
