Things I LOVED about this weekend:
The 50th B-Day party was fantastic! I got out there a little early and got a little alone time with the guest of honor and her girls and her husband. And a few more people showed up. Little by little, the place was PACKED, and it was already time for me to leave to go to the next place.
I LOVED Party #2 because it was Best Bud’s brother’s b-day, and I need to detail it out in another entry because there are things I want to write about that are really important to me. Let’s just say that it took place in one of the most impossible places to get to around here (had never even heard of the place), but well worth getting lost twice. AND….I haven’t spoken to Best Bud in such a long time (*gulp* six months), and there’s a story behind that. Must tell when I’m not dead tired. Bottom line: JOY, JOY, JOY!!!
Ali wanted to go to church and then brunch with me this morning, so that kinda forced me out of the house today, and I’m thankful. Was good to go and then visit with Ali. Babies, babies everywhere at church this morning. 2 baptisms and random babies all over the place. Darling, but oh, the pangs.
I made a new friend! R.R. (Super-cutie from Friday) and his friend met Ali and me at the restaurant where we were having brunch. We ended up talking, talking, talking for 3 1/2 hours (Ali left pretty early on, leaving me alone with these two guys) until they had to get in their car and drive the 4 hours home. There were hints of R.R. and me seeing each other “very soon”.
TMG took me to the movies tonight (The Hangover) which made us both laugh and joke about just hopping a plane tonight and getting married! So fun to think about; so NOT going to happen!!
Loved the weekend!! So tired and need to sleep now.
