K. has asked me to attend a black tie arts event with him the weekend after next. I’m thrilled beyond belief for various reasons. Something interesting is in the air…
But that’s also the weekend that the guy from 4-hours away was planning on driving here to meet me. I’m hoping he’ll agree to Sunday (we haven’t firmed up our plans yet). I could take him to the awesome brunch in my hood. I think he’d be impressed.
Saw my parents today. We did a vehicle switcheroo so that I could drive the girls in a car that has enough room. So I gave them my roadster and they gave me their truckster!! What a sight to see an old man and lady in a teeny-tiny super-fast convertible, huh? Do you think it will be the same hilarious scene watching a bunch of chicks emerging from an old-folks mobile??
