I better write an entry before I get sidetracked with tonight’s event.
I’m headed to a wine-tasting/food-tasting event that’s being put on by my friend Bob who is very involved with a crisis prevention center. And one of the sponsors is K.’s publication. So guess who’s I’m going to see again?
K. will not be tasting wine, but it appears that he’s been trading one vice for another, so I bet he’ll be eating plenty! I know, that was really catty, but I’m just annoyed by things today and I’m in serious need of an attitude adjustment before I get there.
I’m excited that my friend Marci will be at the event as well. She’s a good friend of Bob’s and loves to attend his get-togethers. AND I’m looking forward to meeting another friend of Bob’s who is interested in helping with my networking endeavors.
So. I’m expecting to have a good report tomorrow.
Haven’t heard anything back from anyone I’d talked with yesterday. I don’t know if I should have expected anything, but I did want to talk with company #2 (local company, design position). I am going to try back tomorrow.
I am in serious need of writing a real entry. I have some things that are majorly bubbling to the surface, but I haven’t been able to get them up and out on the page. It’s okay for today, but I want to write, write, write and I can’t, can’t, can’t!
