TODAY…
1. It was another gorgeous and warm day yesterday, and I’m thankful.
2. Thankful for all the phone calls of support and the help with the preliminary interview questions…keep fingers crossed!
3. Thankful for the fun snuggles with CC last night (my last-minute visit)
4. Thankful for all these feelings of hopefulness.
5. Thankful for this time.
Time to write an entry! I have been semi-busy making tons of phone calls and answering questions about this position I’m eyeing. Hoping to score an interview next week sometime. Now I play the waiting game.
Good news is, while I wait I have other things on my mind…and I have DATES! I’m really looking forward to going to the theater tonight with CC.
Tuesday was jury duty. It was for a personal injury case, and I had been involved with something of a similar nature (not personally injured, but a witness to an accident where people died), so I’m pretty sure that’s why I didn’t get chosen. Jury selection is an interesting process, and I didn’t know that’s how they did it. I’m not sure what I was thinking it was going to be like. Nobody had ever told me.
I was STARVING when I got out, and sent a simple text to CC about being done with my civic duty, and CC called me immediately and asked me to lunch! What perfect timing.
He’d just come from getting his hair cut and was waiting for me when I arrived. DAMN! He looked soooooo fine! I find it interesting that I found him attractive when we first met, but I didn’t feel attraction to him. Now…it’s completely different.
Anyway. Saw him Tuesday. He was supposed to have his kids last night, but the ex did a switch on him, so I ended up seeing him for a couple of hours last night too. AND I get to see him tonight!
Then he leaves for several days on two separate trips. I’m kind of glad because I will have lots of chatter time with my girls and hopefully put some things into perspective.
I’m really starting to look forward to….the really good stuff.
Not going to happen tonight, for sure. For various reasons.
But he better watch out when he gets back!
Gotta run. We have an early dinner before the show!!
