Sunday. Back from church and brunch with SexyPants and SOS. It’s been a nice day so far. Brunch turned out nicely, and I know that SP is really trying to work on SOS and his demeanor. Still, I will not change my stance. Yes, SOS can be sweet and charming. I get all of that. He’s capable, but we ALL know about honeymoon stages, and I still cannot live in a volatile house.
SP accidentally threw his iPhone 5 in with the wash this morning so he is out getting a new one and taking SOS to Target. Then he will need to take SOS back to his facility before dinner.
We have dinner plans with SP’s BFF and wife tonight, and that’s always a good, tipsy time. We always end up having interesting conversation and I do like them a lot. I’m looking forward to that. Then I’m going to spend tonight at SP’s house. Not sure how much longer I have of that. Who knows when SOS will be released? Still no definite date.
Makes it hard to plan holidays, vacations….life.
SP was approached last week by a guy he used to work with who has offered him a company to run (as President) along with some even better opportunities in the future. Still, how will SP manage this, plus all the travel that entails, plus a special needs son who he thinks he can care for full time?
Again, this is something that I shouldn’t worry about, but these thoughts do creep up. But let’s be really, really honest here. Whatever SP wants to do, he makes it work! If he wants to take on this role, he will absolutely do it. Not only that, he will do WELL at it. I’ve never seen anything like it, really. This man makes things happen.
So good. Now I can focus on myself!
Writing thank you emails today. Trying to come up with creative yet appropriate thank-yous to all of the characters from Friday’s interviews. I also need to talk with recruiter guy tomorrow as I was completely spent on Friday evening. I seriously couldn’t even form complete sentences by 5pm.
My parents just called but I let it go to voice mail. Terrible, I know. They want to know what’s up for Thanksgiving and I just don’t know yet. Since I’m sure I’m not traveling, I will be invited to their place. Guess that’s fine. To be continued…
Went for a nice walk this morning to and through the new park. This park is sparkling and brand spanking new. So much so that they are still working on the construction of several part of the park. New, new, new. But it smells like the poop of a million dogs. The park is privately owned and there are lots and lots of janitorial services going on at all times. However, I just don’t think anybody gives a shit (no pun intended) about the stench. Yuk. The nose does not get used to that.
OK. Must be off and writing.
Much, much love@@
