“Love isn’t brains, children, it’s blood. Blood screaming inside you to work its will.”
Spike, Lovers Walk.
And who said you never learn anything from TV? That’s why I love Buffy so much. Along with the humor, you occasionally get a moment of pure genius like this.
Spike’s right. Love is not brains. It IS blood. And it can be damned annoying, cropping up when you lest want it to.
At the end of a holiday. Just before you leave home for university. When you have a load of studying to do and exams to worry about (you know what I’m talking about.)
And it’s fickle. It can take you to an unbelievable high or sink you right down into that dark place that you never talk about because you quite simply wish that it did not exsist. It can keep you upp all night with happyness or in an extremely depressed state. It makes you do things that you would never normally think about doing.
It usually drives you crazy.
The worst feeling in the world is that of love unrequited. Nothing can ever match that. And it does not matter what anyone says, they cannot help you as you know that you are the only person in the world who has ever felt this way.
And you know it is not true but you believe it to be so.
And you know what the worst thing about love is?
There is not a damn thing you can do about it.
You are left to ride this rollercoaster with no control.
All you can do is try to control yourself.
I may be loves bitch, but I’m not man enough to admit it.
Are you?
