Yup, that’s what i’ma gonna do on Tuesday.
Y’see, the union and my Uni hosted the Orange Enjoy Music Tour around easter. They are doing so again in about a month. The problem?
When this event is on, students are denied access to the union unless they pay.
IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE OUR UNION DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s our money that funds it. It is supposed to be run by students for students.
And we recieved no warning that this may be happening. We have not been told how much is being paid by Orange to take over the union (the WHOLE union) for one night. And the union have not justified their actions.
Well, they have pissed off the wrong bloke. I also have the chairperson of the rock society backing me. The union AGM is on Tuesday.
And I’m going to demand answers.
