If you cast your mind back to a week ago, you will remember that last weeks quote was:
“And I think somebody somewhere must be tolling a bell.”
<a href=http://www.opendiary.com/entrylist.asp?authorcode=A320174Karma Girl was the first person to answer:
Meatloaf- Bat Out of Hell. The lyrics are “something something burning bike, something bell something someting tolling aardvark something.”
Next was Corbeau who also said:
Meatloaf’s “Bat Out of Hell” followed by the lyrics: “And the last thing I see is my heart. Still beating, still beating, Breaking out of my body and flying away, Like a bat out of hell.” Have a fabulous day.
Both are right. Also, I love Karma Girl’s lyrics for it. So she wins the award for most amusing answer (which is not handed out much. Last winner was Polter-Cow for his version of ‘Religion is the opiate of the masses’)
The lyrics are (as best as I can remember them):
“I’m down at the bottom of a pit in a blazing song,
Torn and twisted at the foot of a burning bike,
And I think somebody somewhere must be tolling a bell,
And the last thing I hear is my heart still beating,
Still beating,
I’m breaking out of my body and flying away,
Like a bat out of hell” Repeat once.
BTW, if you get the chance to see Meatloaf in concert, take it. He is amazing (and his daughter is quite cute as well).
This weeks quote:
“It is his love, it is his passion
It is his fault he didn’t lock the garage.”
You know the rest.
