Well after the writer L. Frank Baum had died his coat was given to a charity and was pickup for part of the costume for professor Marvel, it was varified by the tailor and the widow that it was actually his coat. The irony is that he was the writer of the Oz books, wizard of Oz, ha ha ha.
Correct. I am lead to believe that the coat was presented to Baum’s widow after filming had finished. Just one of those brilliant pieces of serendipity.
