Last weeks quote:
“It is his love, it is his passion
It is his fault he didn’t lock the garage.”
First answer was from Polter-Cow:
Hm…I seem to vaguely recall that perhaps being from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off?
Next up was Karma Girl:
Said by Matthew Broderick in Ferris Bueller’s day off, just before he “borrows” Cameron’s dad’s car for the day.
Third was norahrose:
ferris bueller’s day off! *grumble grumble* you’d think my film major would get me something…at least answering first in these contests.
And last was Svlad Cjelli:
It’s from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – the phrase “It is his love, it is his passion” is the end of Cameron’s big speech thing about his father’s Ferrari, then Ferris finished “It is his fault he didn’t lock the garage” as he gets in. Or something. Yes, I’m a nerd 😛 And I would’ve got this before everyone else had the school computers let me. Disbelieve me if you wish. Wouldn’t blame you.
I know Svlad Cjelli would have got it first. He originally emailed me the answer (the first person to do so). But to both him and norahrose I would say this: this comp is not determined who answers first. It’s who gets it right. And you lot all did. And I was once called a pendantic bastard by Sky magazine for correcting them when they claimed that the car was a lotus. Just because I gave the make and year of the Ferrari.
This weeks quote:
“Memory can change the shape of a room; it can change the color of a car. And memories can be distorted. They’re just an interpretation, they’re not a record, and they’re irrelevant if you have the facts.”
