Last weeks quote:
“The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?”
First answer was supplied by Svlad Cjelli:
It’s from Monty Python and the Holy Grail; that bit about the airborne velocity of an African and an Indian swallow carrying a coconut. OK so it’s not, but that’s what it made me think of. I’m pretty sure I recognise it but I’ve no idea where from.
Next (and the only other person to answer) was Ailouros’ Mirror:
*speaks as quickly as possible* Arthur! Monty Python! Holy Grail! Dammit. One of these days I’m actually going to be first.
Both right. it is said by arthur in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Svlad Cjelli gets it because he gave me the right answer, despite thinking he was wrong.
Next quote:
“What is stalking nowadays, like, the third most popular sport among men?”
Good luck.
