Hence the reason that the events of 9/11 have been called an act of terrorism. According to dictionary.com terrorism is defined as: ter·ror·ism n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

But if this report is true, then children and women are being attacked. You cannot attack civilian villages and convoys and NOT attack women and children.

But again, this is the point. Whether or not it is known that it is military or civilian, the pilots were told to attack.

Actually, even if I knew someone who died on 9/11 I would still find this wrong. Get the people who carried out the terrorist attacks. But don’t deliberatly hit civilians.

The same country that was rebuilt by us before. The same country which needs rebuilding because of our actions. Boasting about rebuilding Afghanistan is a bit redundant. If we were helping to rebuild East Timor, that would be something to boast about.

I do respect your opinion. However, I feel that there should be an investigation into whether or not that report is true. If it is, action must be taken. Because, at the moment, the only difference I see between us and Al Qaeda is that we do not need to hijack planes.
I know that this opinion will not make me popular. Do I care? No. Looking back at the definition given above of terrorism, it seems to me that it is exactly what we are doing. Commiting acts of terrorism. The two ‘messiahs’, Dubya and Uncle Tony, may talk about a ‘just war’. Even more laughable is the rhetoric about ‘war against terrorism’. This from the two people who have done most to harm the peace process in Ireland.
