“Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon yesterday warned that Britain and the US could attack Iraq without UN backing.
He insisted the allies could launch strikes as an act of self defence.”
Well, that must be the most secret attack by one nation on another ever.
Because, and correct me if I’m much mistaken, you have to be attacked first before you can claim self defence.
So where was the attack from Iraq?
It is true that we can go in if Iraq does not agree to UN Security Council resolutions. But there has been no announcement made on this.
So why try and claim self defence? There is no need for it.
Unless they are planning something like the claim of ‘links’ with Al-Qaeda.
But this is one claim they will not be able to back up.
All that is happening here is the US (and, I’m sad to say, Britain) are proving themselves to be bullies.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The reason Dumbya wants to attack Iraq is to correct daddies mistake.
