1. Look around you. what is the most beautiful thing you can see?: A picture of my sisters graduation

2. What is the most beautiful thing you can’t see?: A friend

3. Take a deep breath, yawn deeply. Do you appreciate the things most people take for granted like breathing?: Yes, but not enough to quit smoking

4. Do you appreciate breathing more when you have a cold and you’re all congested and can’t breathe right?: I suffer from hayfever during the summer and have a cold during the winter. What’s breathing right again?

5. If you never got congested would you never fully be able to appreciate breathing?: Yeah.

6. How is your life like a work of art?: It’s like an abstract painting. No-one can understand it.

7. Have you ever noticed that your life influences and is influenced by so many other lives?: At times.

8. Has a smile ever made all the difference in the world to you?: Yes.

9. Have you ever looked at a tree and considered how the roots could be miles long, trailing and entwining with other roots underground, all of them holding the soil together?: Not really.

10. Do you notice the little things in life?: Sometimes.

11. Were you aware that deep down, underneath all of our individual personalities we are all the same?: No we’re not. We are all different. That’s what makes the world interesting. Unless you are talking biologically.

12. Do you feel a great oneness with the universe?: I don’t even feel a great oneness with myself at times.

13. When was the last time you decided to really enjoy yourself?: After speaking to Julie.

14. When was the last time you set yourself free and acted without caring at all what someone else thought?: Last time I got pissed.

15. Have you ever held someone and appreciated how delicate and fragile all life is and felt that they were even more precious and beautiful because one day they would die and so will you?: Yes.

16. In ten years someone else might own your house and the room you are sitting in now. Someone else might be standing right next to where you are sitting now. So that means you could be standing right next to someone but you can’t see them because they are ten years away. ever look at life like that?: No. Actually, that is quite a scary thought.

…soaked in a bubble bath?: Too long ago.

…read a good book outside?: In Italy.

…held someone’s hand?: Saying goodbye to Julie.

…felt truly joyful?: Julies surprise birthday.

18. What do you bring to this world that no one else can? Insanity.

19. Have you ever thought that maybe you were part of every living thing in this world and that all those things are part of you?: Not really, no.

20. Are you more afraid of death or not completely living?: Death is a part of life. I’m more scared of wasting my life.

21. What was the last thing you wanted to do but didn’t or couldn’t do?: Buy (quite) a (few) DVD(s)

22. Why don’t you try and do that thing now?: Lack of fundage
